How to send any application to tray?

That's really easy and very helpful. ;)

1. Add unofficial repositories:

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

In file which just opened paste:


deb http://asher256-repository.tuxfamily.org edgy main dupdate french
deb http://asher256-repository.tuxfamily.org ubuntu main dupdate french


2. Next step is to update:

sudo apt-get update

And install alltray:

sudo apt-get install alltray

3. Using alltray.

It's really easy, simply:

alltray name_of_application

For example:

alltray gimp
